You are excited. Like, little tiny wriggler excited. You get to ride a dragon. YOU get to ride a DRAGON. YOU GET TO RIDE A DRAGON!!!
You are practically bouncing on your toes with excitement. A priccess with a horde of dragons to protect her. Oh shit you are so excited. You continue to pat Cimero's neck.

How do I ride him? Is there like a saddle or does he just let me hop on there?

Yep your voice is doing that high pitched thing you do when you get too excited. You don't really care if she thinks it's uncool. YOU GET TO RIDE A FREEKN DRAGON!

You laugh good naturally, caught up in his excitement. You take Cimero's saddle from your syladex, which causes Cimero to perk up and unfurl his wings, nearly smacking Aarush in the process. "Be careful!" You chastise him as you strap his saddle on. He grumbles in response, mimicking the rise and fall of your voice. You then pull out Alekia's saddle and put it on her. Alekia's response is much calmer.

"Ok once you've climbed on, I'll have to adjust the stirrups because you quite obviously have longer legs than I. But its pretty easy, you have to try to keep your body parallel to theirs. They're very clever, so just feeling you move in your seat will tell them where to go. So the more you lean left or right, the more of a turn they will make. You can also try shouting commands, but half the time your voice will get carried away by the wind." You are slightly nervous, you've never taught someone how to ride one of your dragons before.

You are majorly excited. You uncapatalog your mask and place it on the back of your head for now. You'd want it if Cimero is as fast as Eisire says he is. You watch as Eisire places the saddle on him. It was like a variation of a hoofbeast's saddle. You've ridden hoofbeasts before.

Let me see for a second...

You examine the stirrups, yep just like a hoofbeast saddle. You quickly adjust them to your height so you can get on, then readjust them so that they were comfortable for you to sit on. YOU WERE SITTING ON A DRAGONS BACK!!! You could feel his heat beneath you. You also notice some straps that were made to keep you attached to your seat by your legs. Yeah, you tied those. You don't want to accidentally fall off.

So just give a command like...Up?

Oh no you knew that look too well. Cimero was grinning, the corners of his lips pointed upwards. "No don't you dare-" But it was too late, the dragon had launched himself into the air. You stood on the beach for a minute, screaming up at the troublesome dragon. "CIMERO OH MY FUCK YOU ARE IN SO MUCH FUCKING TROUBLE!"

You were strapped into Alekia's saddle in an instant, clicking your tongue twice to prompt her into the air. She already knew your intentions, and flew straight after the younger dragon. You lean in your saddle until you are just ahead of Cimero's head. "CIMERO HEEL!" The black dragon slowed to a stop until he was flying in place. You circle so you can talk to Aarush. "Oh sweet wriggling jegus are you alright? I'm sorry he's been in a mood as of late."

You should have figured that the moment you said that word that he was going to take off. But it was so exhilarating! You laugh like crazy when Eisire stops him. You stroke the scales on his neck.

I think the two of us are gonna get along just fine...

You pull your mask over your face so that you can see threw the wind. You give a Eisire a grin that mimics her dragon's so well... and you nudge him with a leg to turn Cimero to the side around Alekia. As you pass however, you can't help but to be a bit of a show off and you pull up your mask and give Eisire a kiss on the cheek as you fly past her.

You blush bright pink. D-did he just?! You tell yourself he was just showing off and that it meant nothing. Ok it was so on. On like a fucking stove. Ok you need to leave the cooking puns to Rubedo. You lean forward and to the left, and Alekia responds to you with ease. Elegantly, she soars upwards, then corkscrews. You are now flying upside down, and when you pass over Aarush you stick your tongue out at him, before Alekia dives down towards the sea, pulling up at the last second, her wings kicking up a spray of water. If that mask of his wasn't in the way, you would have attempted to give him a quick kiss back. You laugh as you fly with Alekia, spurring her higher and higher into the night sky.

You laugh as you fly. This was better then being on a jet bike. You guide Cimero up high, taking both yourself and the dragon who was quickly warming up to your height limits. It was like you were born to do this.

Fold!

The black dragon would fold his wing and the both of you would plummet towards the see. You close your eyes, enjoying the feeling of the free fall. This had to be one of the best feelings in the world. At the last moment you nudge the dragon and he snaps open his wing creating a spray of water as they jetted across the sea, creating large waves from their almost sonic speeds. Of course some of those waves would be heading for Eisire and Alekia. You take a large breath of air completely filling your lungs before guiding the dragon under water.

You huffed, you were being beaten at your own game. You followed underwater, having no need for air. You shot past him, sitting up all prim and proper, your neck gills partially unfurled to take in water. You easily pass him, with Alekia being the best swimmer out of your horde, waving as you did before leaning back down and shooting forwards again. Alekia burst from the water elegantly, her powerful wings propelling her forward with ease. Soon the pair of you were above the clouds, the stars stretching out ahead of you. You couldn't remember the last time you'd flown to just goof off. It was truly amazing, you felt so carefree. You felt like you could do anything, that you were invincible.

When was the last time you had been underwater? Cimero was a slower swimmer then Alekia, but it gave you time to take a look around. Your mask kept a tight seal over your face, very little water leaked in. You glanced around as you guided the dragon under the waves.There was a sunken city off in the distance. That looked interesting. You would guide the dark scaled dragon towards it.

The pair of you dipped back under the clouds, you were wondering where Aarush was. You directed Alekia back under the water, quickly catching up with the other pair. You wondered where he was going, the two of you were quickly moving away from your island. You followed, a little ways behind him. And then you saw it, the gaping black line that cut you off from the rest of the ocean. You leaned back, Alekia skidding to a stop, her claws resting on the edge of the trench as she stood on the ocean floor. Your eyes were wide as saucers, you couldn't move. This is the closest you had ever come to the trench since... Since the accident. You felt like you couldn't breathe, your mind filled with fear.

You cross over the trench and look back. You wonder why Eisire isn't following any more. You figure she might just be preparing for some trick or something like that since the two of you have been going at it like crazy. As you get closer to the City a dull ache starts pounding in your head. There was something familiar about this... Cimero looks back at you confused, you nudge him on. But it becomes clear that you should not have come this way. Out of nowhere you are assaulted by spirits. It was rare, when you were actually attacked by the other side. They filled your mind and caused you to panic, and in turn Cimero would panic. The two of you twist and turn as if you were caught in a over strong rip current. You need to get out of there. The air leaves your lungs in gasps and streams of bubbles from your mask.

Your eyes widen when you see Cimero panic, you couldn't see Aarush from this distance but if Cimero was panicking something must be wrong. Alekia could feel your distress and paced along the trench. You had to do something. You urged Alekia over the trench, burring your face in her neck. This felt so wrong, you were crossing the trench and you were bone achingly afraid. In seconds you were across it, tears streaming down your face. You unbuckled yourself from the saddle, pushing up and off of Alekia's back when you were close. Once thing was clear, Aarush was loosing his air supply.

You were at Cimero's side in an instant, one hand around the strap to the saddle as you worked quickly to unbuckle Aarush. Your dragons had been caught in riptides before and could breathe underwater. Aarush did not have such an ability. Once one leg was free you unbuckled the other, your arms looping underneath Aarush's armpits as you kicked for the surface.

You would gasp and cough for air as you broke the surface. Your left eye burned with pain and when you pulled off your mask to breathe better. You splashed like crazy trying to get away from what was holding you. They were in your head dragging up memories of things you know you did not do. One of them was trying to drown you. You kept struggling against Eisire, not sure if she was trying to help you or one of the ones trying to drown you.

When you open your eyes, your right eye was as normal, but your left had gone black and green like your ancestors' and what you saw with it left you in horror. So many spirits of the dead and drowning. Of those culled. You've seen trolls culled, you've culled trolls yourself, but the sheer amount. You went very pale and your eyes went wide before they would roll up to the back of your head and you would go limp in the water.

Once again you were panicking, at a loss of what to do. Alekia was swimming close by, having pulled Cimero from the rip tied. "Alekia!" You call. She swims over and you climb onto her back, pulling Aarush along with you. Moving quickly with shaking hands, you belted his legs into her saddle. If you fell off, you could breathe in the water. You urged Alekia on, calling Cimero to follow. She flew as gently and as quickly as she could, soon with all four feet on land. You unbuckle Aarush then carry him inside, laying him on the couch and completely ignoring that the two of you were soaking wet. You shook him, your heart pounding. You hadn't even been able to start processing that you had crossed the trench.

"Aarush wake up! Come on come back to me wake up!"

You open your eyes sitting up quickly. You don't know if you are wet more with ocean water or the cold sweat from seeing such things. You feel sick to your stomach. It's a miricale you don't lose your plain lunch all over the floor. Your head is pounding so is your heart. Never have you seen something like that. You place your hand over your left eye. It burned like someone had stuck a red hot poker in it.

You look around wildly, growling low in your throat. Were there more? What was next to you? You almost strike out at it, but you recognize it was Eisire just in time. You cover your face in both of your hands. You don't know how to explain what had happened. You feel like a puppet on a string. You don't know what is happening to yourself any more.

Oh thank glob he's awake. He growls at first them seems to calm. "Oh glob, Aarush are you alright? What happened? I'm so sorry I should have told you I don't know whats beyond the trench, I'm just so happy you're okay I thought you had drowned!" You were rambling incoherently, in a complete panic. Your eyes were still puffy from when you cried about being so close to and then crossing the trench, just thinking about it made you lock up. You push the thought from your mind, you could have a mental breakdown after you knew Aarush was alright.

You don't know how to explain it. You feel liquid pooling against the hand over your left eye. You stay quiet, trying to wrap your acheing head around what had happened. You were eleven sweeps for crying out loud... you should have a handle on your abilities. Yet it seemed that things were still running away from you. You wanted to scream.

You take your hands down from off your face. Your left eye still glowed softly with a dull light, and blood tears dripped from it. There were none of those horrors here. You looked over at Eisire slowly.

Yeah... I'm fine...

You manage to croak out. You don't feel fine at all. You feel like you were just sucker punched by fate.

You grab a tissue and wipe away the blood, your hand slightly shaking. You were nervous, you didn't know what was going on with him. You wanted to help, and you didn't know how. You didn't know why either, you barely knew him. Well you knew why. You just denied the reasoning. He looked awful.

"No you aren't..." You reply quietly, trying to hide your concern. "You nearly drowned..." You wondered briefly if he had inhaled any water by accident. You rested your fingers on his cheek, trying to see if his fever had returned.

No... No I'm not...

You would admit. You let her wipe your eye. It hurt, it made you see things. You had no clue what had happened.

I... saw things... I'm not supposed to see things...

You manage to say. You take her hand that was on your cheek and held it tightly in your hand. Again you brush your thumb over the back of your hand.

I... I think I'm losing control of everything...

You press your head against her. She was real, she was there. You close your green eye again. It hurt, your head hurt and you were feeling a little feverish. A humorless laugh makes it's way from your throat.

I guess... I pushed it a little to much today...

The fever was back and so was your worry. You were way too attached to Aarush for your own good, and part of you just knew that you would get hurt in the long run. You should pull away now, but you just couldn't. "Who ever said you needed control? Right now you just need to relax... You need to rest and recover from this fever."

You blushed when he drew you closer. But instead of stiffening with discomfort, you snaked your free arm around him, half hugging him. "Yes, perhaps dragon racing wasn't the best idea... Try not to think about it though, just try to sleep ok?" You ran your fingers through his hair, pushing away how awfully forward you were being. After all, he had given you a kiss on the cheek. Or was that part of the game? You just didn't know anymore, and were too concerned to care.

Rest was a good idea, you needed it. You also needed to get out of these soaking wet clothes. Dragon raceing was fun. You hoped the dragon was alright.

Thats a good idea...

You mutter standing. You look at her and a slight smile crosses your face. You bend slightly to give her a soft kiss. You could only hope that she feels the same as you do. Your tired eyes serch hers for a moment. You don't know why but it feels right to be by her side. You brush some of her damp hair away from her face.

I'm sorry if I am out of line Princess...

Your eyes widen and the colour rushes to your face. You had ever so slightly leaned into his kiss. You glance away, your mind in shambles as you try to figure out what in Glob's name had just happened. "T-The-bathroom-is-by-the-stairwell-and-there-are-p-p-plenty-of-towels-in-there!" Ok your words were so rushed and jumbled even you didn't quite know what you said. You were going to need to repeat yourself, but before you could speak again you heard a loud crash and then Phobee's attention seeking wail.

"Oh-um Phobee's probably wondering why I haven't fed her yet I'll be right back!" Jegus you needed to calm down. You took the stairs two steps at a time, finding Phobee in your room, You shut the door and calm your bratty dragon. For once you were so very thankful for Phobee's timing... You grabbed your palmhusk and messaged Aryane, hoping she could help you untangle the mess in your head.

You manage a small smile. She did get flustered easily. You caught most of what she had said about the bathroom under the stairs. Cleaning up some of this sand off you seemed like a good idea. You would head for the stairs and look around for the bathroom. Oh it was right near the stairs. You let out a sigh as the door closes behind you. You take a moment to look in the mirror to see what was going on with your eye, and you think... No you are sick. Thankfully you just had that rice ages ago and you were close to the toilet. You slowly clean yourself up after that.

It was not as if you were not used to bad injuries... But this was very unnerving and the blood that had gathered around it did not help. You carefully cleaned around your eye. It was still unsettling, the green that over taken your iris and pupil. The rest of your eye had gone black. You take careful breaths to keep yourself calm. No you could not lose it. You had to stay in control of yourself.

You were starting to feel hot again. You take off your partially drying clothes and wrap a towel around your self. Maybe you can slip your clothes into a dryer before she comes to check on you. You really have no concept of how long you have been in that bathroom.

You feel much calmer after talking to Aryane. You can think straight and you heart is no longer pounding. You take a few more deep breaths before hoping into the shower and rinsing the sand off of you. After drying off and putting on clean, dry clothes you unbraid your hair and comb it. You get as much water out as you can, but it would have to dry on its own accord, as always. You scoop up Phobee and go downstairs, peeking around the corner for Aarush. He must still be in the bathroom. You place Phobee on the counter and take out leftover rice, rolling it into balls between your hands before feeding them to her on the ends of chopsticks.

You come outbid that bathroom only wearing a towel around your waist. You had made a bandage for your left eye since the blood tears would not stop. In your hive you have a laundry room behind the kitchen. Maybe there was a similar set up here? Nope. You walk out right infront of her only wearing a towel.

Oh shit! Sorry!

You quickly try to get out of the kitchen quickly but you drop your towel. Yep, you had just did that. You try not to let out a girly scream as you go a bright purple and cover yourself with the clothes in your hand before absconding the fuck right back into the bathroom. You were never coming out.
