The dragon said yes, or at least implied it. He was really not the biggest fan of flying, but for now he'd have to deal with it, seeing his lack of options, opinions or wings at all. So he just clung to him and decided not to look down.

Once he arrived to his hive, though, he could feel the dragon sniffing him all over like looking for something. Probably food? It was an animal after all and the trip might have exhausted it a bit. So he patted his scales and asked him to wait, rushing back in his hive (which was surprisingly intact) to come back later with raw hoofbeast meat. He briefly wondered if Eisire gave them any fresh meat from beings of the surface. "Thanks. Here you go."

The dragon took the piece of meat in his mouth and cooked it whole, much like Phobee had attempted to do, then swallowed it whole. With long tendrils of smoke slowly leaving his nose, he rubbed his large head against Rubedo as a way of saying thanks, making a strange clicking sound that sounded akin to purring, then took off into the sky once more, its black body soon becoming invisible against the night sky.

Eisire slept peacefully, too exhausted to even dream, unaware that she was alone once more.
